Tips on How to Grow Snapdragons from Seeds

Germination

Optimum conditions for seedling development that begins the day the crop is sown until cotyledon expansion.
Germination is in 10 – 21 days.
SOW INDOORS 8-10 weeks before last frost. 10-21 days to germinate. Direct Sow is not recommended.
Do Not Cover Seeds, just press lightly into very moist soil and maintain moisture levels. If you are watering indoors do so from below, (sub-irrigate.) Keep at 68-75°F.
Grow on at 60°; warmer temperatures cause leggy transplants. Set out after danger of frost, spacing at 9–12". Perennial in Zone 7-10, grown as an annual.
