Spinach Seeds

Spinach is one of the most nutritious of the leaf vegetables, fresh spinach has a sweet foliage and a distinct flavor.Because of the ease with which it grows, its compact size, and the rapidity with which it matures, it certainly belongs in your garden. It has the ability to produce a crop in cool weather, and even will resist a light frost, which has made it a favorite of northern vegetable growers. Delicious cooked or fresh in salads, this hardy, quick-growing crop thrives in cool weather. Plant spinach as early in the spring as possible. (Bolt-resistant varieties are best for spring sowing.
