Cup and Saucer Vine Seeds

Cobaea scandens

Cobaea scandens is a species of flowering perennial plant of the Polemoniaceae family, native to the tropical Americas, Also known as cathedral bells because of its flower shape, cup and saucer vine plants. They are enormous with exotic blooms that start off as pale green and as they mature they turn to a rich purple with long, twisty anthers and white streaked troats. Big, graceful bells crowd for position on this super-fast, extra-showy twining vine. Starts blooming mid summer to early fall. Plant height (vine) is about 20 feet, with each bloom size of 3 inches. Zones 9-10.
