| Calendula is commonly called Pot Marigold, this plant blooms best in cool weather, producing flowers in a blend of lemon yellow, apricot, gold and orange. This variety has a Zinnia type double 3" flowers .. Sow indoors: 5-8 weeks before last frost in individual pots and keep moist. Transplant outdoors after all danger of frost is past, or sow directly outside 2 weeks after last frost in groups of 3-4 seeds. then thin to 12-18". Germination period is 10-14 days at 70ºF. GARDEN HINTS: Full sun, average well drained soil. Great for pots, beds, and large containers. Full sun is best , and make sure soil is not saturated. Remove spent flowers to prolong the blooming period. Make an excellent long lasting cut flower.
