How To Grow Poppies from Seed
- by scattering seed outdoors after danger of all frost, cover seed with �" soil.
- Use in a designed bed in the background 3-5" apart.
- Germination is 14-21 days at 70�F.
- Not recommended- as seedlings are difficult to transplant.
- Use for mass plantings. Tolerates poor sandy soil with low fertility, heat and drought conditions. Poppies like full sun and are commonly used as a wild-flower.
