Organic Radish Seeds, Daikon Miyashige White
Raphanus sativus
This white necked Daikon-type radish from Japan is crisp with a mild spicy
flavor. A great addition for salads, stir fries, sushi or just eaten
sliced. These organic radish seeds are best planted in late summer or
early fall to be harvested into the winter before the ground freezes.
Best to be planted 60 days before the first fall frost. A tip for keeping
this radish white and straight is to plant in trenches and mound the soil
around as they grow. Radishes need warm soil to germinate, but cool
temperatures to finish off growing. You can sow the seeds outdoors only
and then place a black plastic sheet (you can cut a trash bag) over the
soil only until you see the seedlings appear. 55-65 days to maturity. Grown
