Tips on How to Grow Strawflower �Helichrysum Seeds
Will do best in full sun with a well-drained soil mix. In the greenhouse, we use a soil mix consisting of 1 part peat moss to 2 parts loam and sand. Plants are well watered and allowed to dry before watering again.SOW INDOORS 6-8 weeks before last frost. 10-20 days to germinate at 70-75�.Do not cover seeds, as light aids in germination.
TRANSPLANT only when all danger of frost is gone, 1-2 weeks after last frost 10-12 inches apart, especially where summers are long GARDEN HINTS: Needs average well drained soil and full sun. Use for cut flowers, borders, in back of beds. Harvest when 2-3 layers of petals have opened.
Seed will germinate in 7-10 days at 65-75�F (18-26�C)
Growing on requires that temperatures be 60�F ights,65-70�F days..
