Glamour Red Ornamental Kale has been recognized as an excellent breeding achievement also
as a recent AAS Winner. Fringed leaf type of Brassica tolerance will reach maturity at about
90 days from sowing. Glamour Red has rosy-red frilly inner leaves that are surrounded by
dark green leaves. Will begin to color up when night temperatures fall below 55� for 2 weeks.
Has unique shiny leaves that give a more intense, vivid color compared to existing ornamental
kales making it really stand out and be noticed. Leaves are wax less thus making the colors
more intense. Everything about this Kale is on a large scale- the reds are redder, the greens
are greener and the heads are bigger and more dramatic. Glamour Red height is about 12"
with a spread of 14" that has a tight ground hugging habit that's beautiful advantage in the
garden or in a container. Start the seeds about 90 days before you expect the temperature to
dip below the magic number of 55� at night, and set them out when the weather is cool. For
great spring, fall and even winter ( in mild and warm climates) color- you can be sure of
