Cosmos Chums SeedsFor Kids Who Garden,Greetings! We're the Cosmos Chums and we're such fun to grow because we are full of surprises. Our flowers bloom in a mix of bright colors; snowy white, pastel pink and raspberry. Some gardening kids think our colors look like strawberry ice cream with whipped cream on top. Yum! You'll get 50 seeds in each package of Cosmos Chums seeds. That's a whole lot of flowers for your garden. Pick a sunny spot in your yard to sow cosmos seeds. We need light to grow. Sow our seeds in the ground when the last danger of frost is over in your town. Ask a grownup gardener when the frosty weather is over. Please give us water after you plant us. We're thirsty! Soon after planting our seeds, you'll see our green sprouts popping up from the earth. We will grow to be about 20 inches tall, and everyone admires our soft, ferny leaves. When our flower buds first appear, they will be small and round, but every day, they will grow bigger and bigger. Before you know it, those buds will be bursting open like 4th of July fireworks and just wait until you see how beautiful our flowers are. Each cosmos plant will get lots of flowers on it. Keep us blooming happily by pinching off old brown flowers that have finished blooming. You'll get to enjoy our flowers for months, and you can pick cosmos to make bouquets for your best friends. They will be amazed when you explain that you grew them yourself, right in your own yard. We think gardening kids are the neatest kids in the world. Let's get planting!
