Panola XP® Sunburst Pansy Seeds
Product Description
Viola x wittrockiana
| 25 Seeds
Beautiful pansies which have a scarlet background with golden face and whiskers. You can not find a better combination of red and gold. Panolas are free flowering mini pansies that resist stretching in warm weather and are very early. Pansy plants can overwinter in many areas if they had time to develop a good footing and are easy to grow for these raw, prime pansy seeds. Pansies rarely have any disease or insect problems making them very low maintenance. The Panola series of Pansy plants are a cross between a Pansy & Viola which results in medium sized flowers that hold up better in rain and snow than the much larger flowering pansy varieties. Medium-flowered Panola pansies hold up better in the Winter months when beaten down by rain and snow because the petals are smaller and thicker. These free flowering pansies will produce a carpet of blooms in your landscape

How To Grow Pansy From Seeds |
Stage 1
A medium covering of coarse grade vermiculite is recommended to help maintain high humidity around the germinating seed for better germination performance. Proper germination takes 3 to 4 days. For optimal germination performance, maintain the plug media at “wet” moisture levels, i.e., the media is glistening, but water will not ooze out from the bottom of the tray and will penetrate only slightly from the top around the fingertip. Avoid germination temperatures above 70°F (21°C) to prevent seedling stretch Stage 2 (first leaves) timing: 10 days
