Culture: Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in late spring after danger of all frost or fall in a sunny location. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Mulch if hard frost is expected. Longer white stems can be achieved by mounding earth up over the stems to blanch them. Bunching onions may be harvested at any stage, from micro-size to full maturity.
