This is the most common lentil, they are large and green and are easy to grow that will give you a delicious treat for your salad or soups. Sweet with a bit of a peppery flavor. Bean-like flavor and texture; quick sprouting. Lentil sprouts are great for eating as fresh sprouts or used in cooked dishes. Green Lentil Sprouting Seeds are high in fiber, protein and amino acids. An excellent addition to soups and salads. Our Lentils come from sources which are certified organic.
Put 1 to 2 Tbsp. seed in a wide mouth jar. Cover with mesh and secure with rubber band. Add water, swirl, and drain. Add 1-cup cool water and soak for 10 to 12 hours. Drain.
RINSE –2-3 times a day, refill jar with cool water, swirl, and drain. Invert jar and prop at an angle in a sink or bowl.
ENJOY – Ready in 3 to 4 days. Refrigerate to store.
