Sunflower Seeds
Sunflowers need to be grown in open sunny areas to be seen at their best. They will grow in any soil but really thrive in ground that has been enriched. The only plant native to the lower 48 states, they can be used for garden decoration and cut flowers. When soil is warm, sow seeds 4"–8" apart in rows 12"–18" apart, where there’s plenty of room to grow and a lot of sun.
