Stock Seeds
Stock is much sought after. Its old-fashioned excellent lasting qualities, good color range, and spicy-sweet fragrance make it ideal for gardens and cut flowers. Stock needs light fertile soil and good drainage.
How to Grow Stock
SOW INDOORS 8-10 weeks before last frost or DIRECT SOW after any danger of frost when soil is warm.
Transplant seedlings 2-4" apart in rows 6-10" apart, ¼" deep, support may be needed when temperatures are above 60º consistently or frequent rains. Germination period is 7-18 days at 65-75º F.
GARDEN HINTS: Full sun and well-drained, moderately rich soil. Use for cut flowers,
borders and containers.
