Lobelia Seeds
Originally from South Africa. Popular and dependable annual that are 6" tall and
5"–9" wide with upright and trailing plant form. Perfect as fillers and for
edging, and also in beds and baskets. Our Lobelia seeds are multi-pelleted,
meaning up to five seeds per pellet, making them easier to sow and to see.
Lives over winter in mild climates. Give rich soil, regular water and full
sun in cooler climates; needs some shade in warmer regions.
How to Grow Lobelia
SOW INDOORS 8-10 weeks before last frost. 15-20 days to germinate. Do Not cover seed, as light aides in germination.
TRANSPLANT into a larger container 4-5 weeks after sowing, then transplant outdoors after danger of frost. Space outside 4-6" apart.
GARDEN HINTS: Likes full sun, but perfers partial shade. Needs shade in warmer
regions.
